My usb doesnt show anymore and there are no volumes or partitions. Tried everything, please help! Its a new usb with 32gb that I needed to flash my new PC. How can a software broke a hardware, this is insane!
Tried diskpart commands, tried deleting partitions (there are no partitions), tried plugging into a TV… nothing.
You are suggested to use an Error-checking tool.
@romes what image did you originally flash to your USB drive that caused it to get in the current state? If you want to return it to be recognized by a Windows PC, have you looked at our guide here? Etcher broke my USB stick … or did it? It sounds like you need to add a partition and then format it. These steps are outlined in the provided link.

And yes, I read that article, actually, I tried A LOT OF THINGS, nothing works…
Hi,
Given your last comment on diskpart
I assume you are using Windows. While trying the steps from our blog (Etcher broke my USB stick … or did it?); did you see your device atleast on diskpart
with the following command ?
DISKPART> list disk
Also, are you trying the USB via a USB hub or directly connected to the system? In some cases the USB hub does not supply enough power for your drive. You should directly connect the drive to USB port.
The last thing would be to check on another system as well. Let us know if any of this helps or if we can help debug further.

Nitish
What appears when you run list partition
?
