I tried loading the belenaEtcher on my SD card from my Linux mint and I get an error no application found for "belenaEtcher-1.7.9-x64.appImage, I deleted it then when I went to your site again on the download I went to the arrow and loaded the linux 64 from there when I went to opening it, I got a window saying get restore image I did that to put it on the SD card now the card no longer works.

make sure you run the app by the correct name balenaEtcher, not bElena.
make sure you download balenaEtcher from the original source balenaEtcher - Flash OS images to SD cards & USB drives
Can you detail, where and how did you get “get restore image” message? Screenshot could be helpful too.
In the meantime this Etcher broke my USB stick … or did it? post helps you how you may make your sdcard work again.
