Just installed. I just get a blank window.

I just installed on my Windows 10 machine. It just comes up as a blank window with Etcher in the top left of the title bar and minimize and exit on the right side.

So I uninstalled and then tried the portable. Exact same issue.

Anybody know what to do next?

I’m on a different computer and it works there. I don’t know why it doesn’t work on my laptop.

Can you open the developer tools by pressing Control+Shift+I and send us what you see on the “Console” pane?

I’m having the same issue (on installing v1.5.74), this is the error I got in the console:

Hi, we confirm that there’s a problem with 1.5.74. We are working to fix it. Meanwhile, can you use previous version? https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/releases/tag/v1.5.73 . Sorry for inconvenience. Duplicate of Problems with Etcher 1.5.74 Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 .

No GUI appearing with version 1.5.74 with either Portable or Install.
Same result after rebooting the system and trying to Run as administrator.
