Intel NUC fails provisioning with v2.9.7+rev2

Seems to have a problem with ext2fs_check_if_mount: Can't check if filesystem is mounted due to missing mtab file while determining whether /dev/disk/by-label/resin-rootA is mounted.

It gives the same error with /resin-rootB and /resin-state

Also it shows Error: Can't have overlapping partitions.

The final item in the log is sd 4:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI removable disk

If I pull out the keyboard or remove the usb, the activity is logged on the screen, so the OS is still live, just seems to not be able to move forward. I"ve tried multiple USB sticks, now trying to downgrade to 2.7.8+rev1

Hello,

I have a few questions.
When are you seeing these errors? When you first boot the NUC from the USB key?
How did you flashed the USB stick?
Which NUC model is it?

Thanks zvin, as it turns out it was a corrupted partition table. I loaded up ‘gparted-live’ on a usb stick, blew away the partitions, and it came up fine.
