Does resinos-img file type supported by Etcher?

Hello,

I build balenaOS from the source and the following raw file successfully generated.

./build/tmp/deploy/images/raspberrypi3/resin-image-raspberrypi3-20200401154938.rootfs.resinos-img

I tried to flash the image to an SD card with Etcher but it seems resinos-img type is not supported.

I can use Etcher if I rename it .img but I wonder if I am missing something? Does Etcher support resinos-img file type?

Hi @mkilivan,

It looks like the various coffee scripts in that repo are set to output generated files with the resinos-img “extension”. I’ll alert the repo owner about the issue you’re seeing. In the meantime, adding the .img extension is a good workaround.
