do I find release version so I don’t download a version I already have?

You can find all the released versions on github https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/releases/

Doesn’t help when you are on the download page. What revision are you providing to downloaders? Oh, let me start another browser tab and go to github somewhere. Maybe the latest github release is what will download. Maybe not. THE DOWNLOAD PAGE SHOULD SAY.
