So the Pimoroni PHAT DAC listed in the Balena Sound Guide is now discontinued? Has anyone tried either the HiFiBerry DAC or HiFiBerry DAC Pro cards to maximize the audio quality? Are there configuration or environmental changes required? Thanks in advance.
Hi @Casey, welcome to the balena forums.
I’m not sure specifically if anyone here has validated that it works, however the hifiberry dtoverlay files are present in balenaOS, so I would expect that they would work once configured. Personally, I use a HiFimeDIY USB Sabre DAC which is cost effective and sounds great.
