WiFi not working with balenaOS on Asus Tinker S R2.0

Using balenaOS with Asus Tinker S R2.0 - I cannot get Wifi to work.

Any help on this ?

I have it working on RaspberryPi - but it seems that the armv7h image for the Asus Tinker S needs a different approach.

Hello,
The ASUS Tinker Board S OS image was made for the older ASUS Tinker Board S (not the S R2.0) and there might be some compatibility issues such as the one you found. At the moment, supporting this board is not a priority, however we can suggest that in the mean time you could try the following:

  • Connecting a wifi dongle
  • It is possible to add device support yourself (balenaOS - Docs) or work with the manufacturer to do it
  • As last option, you could use another board
