I downloaded Balena Etcher ver 1.7.3-64x and ran it as a portable program as well as installed it on my Linux Mint Cinnamon 64-bit computer. In both cases, all I get at start-up is a blank white screen. Does anyone know about this issue and how I can overcome it?

Thanks, what version of windows is this? Can you also tell me where you are downloading Etcher from? Can you try the latest portable version here? Release v1.7.9 · balena-io/etcher · GitHub
And can you also try installing Etcher through the MSI and see if that works?
