We recently acquired several additional Compulab IOTDIN-iMX8P platforms. Two of them worked fine but the third had a very flakey network connection. That one has the RTL8211F chip, which Compulab only added support for in February (IOT-DIN-IMX8PLUS: Debian Linux: Release Notes - Compulab Mediawiki)
Do you have an update for when the official Balena image will be rebuilt with support for this chip, or any suggested workarounds in the mean time?
