Yocto project with balenaOS for Compulab's IOT-GATE-iMX.8 SBC

Hi,

We use Compulab’s Industrial IOT gateway devices in our project. We need help to create a Yocto project for this device by integrating balenaOS. The task is not straightforward. There’s already Compulab’s i.MX 8 based cl-som device which has already integrated balenaOS. Is there a plan to integrate Compulab’s IOT GATE device as well?

Have you tried using the Compulab MX8M image ?

hi Zvin, Not really. I wasn’t sure if it would work out of the box as the MX8M image is for ‘cl-som- imx8mq’ machine while the one I have is ‘iot-gate-imx8mm’.

I’m not sure it will work, but it is worth trying.
