OMV_4_Raspberry_Pi_2_3_3Plus.img.xz

HI all,
Hope you are well,

Just wondering if anyones had success writing OMV_4_Raspberry_Pi_2_3_3Plus.img.xz
to a micro sd card using etcher.

When I try I get verification errors (which I ignored and tried anyway - failure)

Have had success using etcher to write linux mint, ubuntu and Raspbian (with Windows10)

I’m also thinking the image hosted by sourceforge could be at fault too. Have started here because Openmediavaults forum was flagged by safari as not being secure.

kind regards

Richard

I have the same issue here, is there a solution?

Hello Richard_B,

I’ve just tried flashing the image from https://sourceforge.mirrorservice.org/o/op/openmediavault/Raspberry%20Pi%20images/OMV_4_Raspberry_Pi_2_3_3Plus.img.xz with no issues (on Windows 10 and Linux).
A verification error simply means that what we read back from the device is not what we’ve written to it. In general it means that you should use another sd card.
Etcher does not care about the contents of the image, it just copies bytes.
