Maybe something goes wrong when it tries to connect to the balena VPN. By the way, I’m in China mainland.
I also have a private VPN and I can connect to International Internet. Please help me.

Unfortunately our VPN service is not working in China. (Device is always inactive) I belief it is blocked by the big firewall. If you can tunnel all local network traffic through your private VPN it might work. Another option I can think of is to set up your own openbalena (https://www.balena.io/open/) server.
