Fresh install of balenaOS 2.98.33 with Balena Sound installed. This is on a first revision Rasperry Pi 4b. What info can I give you to help me troubleshoot?
Using the headphone jack, tried playing both via Spotify and bluetooth. Verified speakers work.

This sounds like it might be a similar issue to this one: No sound output with balenaOS 64 bit on Raspberry Pi 3 · Issue #82 · balenalabs/balena-sound · GitHub. Could you try removing the vc4-kms-v3d overlay from the device configuration and then reboot?
Saw that series of threads. Tried, and no luck
