Embedding the balenaFin in products in Europe

I’ve just received my new v1.1 Developer Kits and I’m planning to use the new balenaFin in a end product.

On https://www.balena.io/fin/1.1/docs/embedding/ I can see that “the end product must be labeled, in a visible area, with […]”. Is this required only in order to comply with FCC or maybe also for a matter or trademark?

Also, what about EU compliance?

Hi there,

The FCC ID is required to comply with FCC regulations. Please keep in mind that there might be additional requirements depending on what your end product is (additional components, transmitters, enclosures, etc.).

Regarding EU, it’s a similar story to FCC but only the CE marking is required.
