My work email was invited to be an operator for our balena fleet. I received the email invitation. Clicked it. Clicked create account with google auth-- Account was created but it is not a member of my orgnisation.

We got around it by deleting the invitation and re-inviting me based on my balena userId, but there is probably a bug in your authentication workflow.

Thank you for opening a thread to inform us about this, we are aware that if a user with no account is invited to an org, the invitation is not auto-accepted upon signup. We have a github issue for this, however it is in a private repository so I am unable to share it. We can follow up though once the issue has been resolved to inform you that such is the case.
Can you please clarify about the invitation being deleted and re-sent: after signing up, did you try clicking the invitation link again to see if you would be added to the org now that your user exists, and it did not work? Or did you just delete and re-send the invite after signing up without retrying the invite link?
Yes after clicking the link a second time once I had set up a user, I was taken to my account but without access to the organization.
