Hello, do you get that message when you try to run any other .exe files? It’s possible you have some damaged Windows system files on your computer. You may want to do a search for “repair images of windows 10” and see if any of the suggested built-in Windows scans/repair tools help solve the issue.
Yes, I’m able to open many different .exe files on this computer laptop. I did successfully install balenaetcher on a different Win10 laptop and use the program to create a bootable fydeOS USB drive (my goal). I don’t know what the difference is between the machines.
