I tried several times to register an image from a qnap server, but the result is an unknown error. If I put the image on the desktop locally then everything is ok. Why?

Hello Zakmckracken.
I guess you are using a shared folder with its drive letter windows (something likz Z:\some-image.img).
This does not work on current versions of etcher.
This issue should be fixed in the next release.
In the meantime, you should be able to work around it by using the server address instead of the drive letter (\\192.168.0.1\Public\some-image.img)

Where is a log file for explain the UNKNOW ERROR ?
@Zakmckracken on Windows you can use CTRL - SHIFT - I to access the developer console and see any error messages in more detail.
It’s possible to save the log? I’ve take a photo of the screen…
