Hello,
I can see that there is a balena-fin overlay in the upstream raspbian repository. Does that mean one can simply download a pristine upstream raspbian image, modify config.txt to load the balena-fin overlay and utilize the peripherals on the fin? Of course wifi will be using the upstream drivers.
Hi! Yes I think you are right there. As far as I am aware the Raspbian we make available for the fin is the upstream with the changes you describe applied, and the proprietary network drivers.
What is the modification that should be made to config.txt?
Any other modifications?

Welcome to the forums!
You need to add the overlay and DT-blob from here, and then add dtoverlay=balena-fin to config.txt.
