I get the error tunneling socket could not be established: 500 on my raspberry pi and cant seem to connect to it

I got the same error this time and used the steps described in the following tutorial for the raspberry-pi senor project with Grafana:

Is there a quick workaround or fix for this issue?

We encountered an error when reaching this balena.io device:

UUID 35XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

tunneling socket could not be established: 500

One possible reason is because nothing is listening on port 80 on the device.
