Hey everyone, we’ve just released an update to the host OS for the Raspberry Pi series, which adds support for the Raspberry Pi 2 v1.2 hardware variant!
According to the Board Revision History on the eLinux wiki, that hardware variant came out in the 3rd quarter of 2016, and now uses the same SoC as the Raspberry Pi 3. This change needed an update in the boot firmware we ship. Now that the tests are run and everything seem to be working, it’s available from the Dashboard, just download the latest, 1.24.1 version of the host OS! This change only affects the Raspberry Pi series, and thus only updated those devices at the moment!
