First, the Mode: STATIC parameter suggests that an existing station.conf file is taking precedence over the variables you might be setting in the balena dashboard. This means you might be mounting a config folder in your project, right? If that’s the case I’d suggest not to do it until you have a working configuration, otherwise it will mess with your tests.
Second, the error below suggests a connection problem to the LNS. The CUPS server worked fine thou. This could have been a temporary issue.

Hi,
I have no idea why the log 1 says STATIC. All other 9 logs say DYNAMIC. I am not mounting a config folder; I do not even know how to do that. Perhaps I did not properly restarted the service in Balena?
About the second issue, I am now testing if port 8887 is open in the university net.

Hi, I’m setting a basic station using the banana example fleet with Fin v1.0 and Nebra LoRa concentrator (sx1301 based).

Issued fixed, When we select IN865 in balena it’s trying to connect to the wss://in.cloud.thethings.network:8887 but it’s actually not correct on the TTN server side as it’s already listed as “eu1.cloud.thethings.network” even if we select the IN and selected TTN_REGION in device variable as “in” .
So in order to fix the issue, I just changed the TTN_REGION as “eu1”

I have the log saying

i have created every thing with default settings
My TTN gateway have no API keys
the full log is attached

I generated an API key in TTN and use it as TC_key variable in Device variables
now it connects and send gateway status to TTN and disconnect again

Is the a list of what codes correspond to which country for TTN_REGION?
I am in the US, so probably shouldn’t put “eu1” correct? Would this affect the expected frequency range?

indeed if you are in the US you shouldn’t use eu1.

TTN has 3 different clusters (“eu1”, “nam1” and “au1”). Those are the possible values of the TTN_REGION variable. You should be using the one closer to your location for improved latency, but actually any one of them will work regardless of the frequency band of your devices or gateways.
