Image ends up with a 169 MB data partition

I think this might be a problem with one specific micro sd card, but might be worth documenting. When burning a Rpi4 Balena Cloud image using Etcher, we always end up with a 169MB state partition despite the card having 32GBs.

Could you please tell us more details what OS are you using and if the SD card was brand new or not? BTW what balenaEtcher version are you using?

Hey @mpous, it’s one of these Kootion cards. It’s not brand new, but also not so old. But it only happens to this card.

Using Etcher 1.6.0.

@luandro i have been reading similar issues on the forums, and everything is related with the SD cards. Find here an example Balena OS burned to disk with BalenaEtcher on a 16GB SD shows only 169MB available in dashboard

let me know if you can test with another SD card.

We’ve been able to test with another SD card and works fine. Didn’t find that post on the same topic before, thanks for sharing.
