I need some help

Soo i wanted to jailbreak my iphone. i downloaded the iso and wanted to try etcher. it said it was completed but with an error. and then it split my usb into 3 VERY small parts. can anyone help me?

Hi, the partitions you see are those of the image you just flashed. If the error you saw at the end was a verification failure, it means that the USB you flashed could have some bad sectors and/or the data read back after writing was not the same. In that case, I would advise changing target/reader/port/cable (one of them can cause this issue) and then re-trying. If you’re on Windows, that could also cause some false-positives due to Windows creating some sub-folders when switching from flashing to verifying.

Hi,
Can you clarify what issue you are facing while trying to use the disk management?
Let me point you to this highly detailed step-by-step comment about how to bring external storage media back to a single windows readable format:

Alternatively let me also point you to our recent blogpost about “recovering” USB Drives that ended up in such state after flashing an iso:

Hi Francis, from the video linked, I see you are trying to format within the single partition dialog, which is not what we suggest doing in our blogpost - did you try the steps described in https://www.balena.io/blog/did-etcher-break-my-usb-sd-card/? what you see in the video is just Windows not supporting the partitions file-system. A clean format from disk manager as described in our blogpost will get you back with the single FAT32 partition you want back.
