Flashing SD card: elevated process dies unexpectedly

hi, I looked into other threads about this error but they were either on older versions of Etcher or other OSs. I am using Etcher version: 1.5.111, on a MacOS 10.13.6.
The image I am trying to flash is included in the archive downloaded from the LEGO education site.

I am getting the following error:
“the elevated process dies unexpectedly” when trying to flash my new card.
In the screen shot, I have uploaded part of the DevTools error message, in case it helps.
Do you have any idea on how to solve this?

Hi, thank you for reporting this, it might be a different issue than that posed by the older versions.

Could you try waiting a bit and then re-trying for that matter?
