Etcher on Jetson Orin Nano to flash Jetpack 6.2

I downloaded the program version labeled for 64 bit Linux onto Jetson Orin Nano into Downloads folder.
“Etcher for Linux x64 (64-bit) (zip)| Linux x64|[Download”

I extracted it in place. (Did not use Archive Manager). I double clicked on balena-etcher. Received the error "./balena-etcher: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error.

I am new to Linux. Not sure if there is a preferred folder to put it in.

Not sure what I should have done once I downloaded it.

The associated etcher “launcher” had an assumed path in it. Not sure if it was nonsense or if I needed to put the package in that path “/home/runner/work/etcher/etcher/out/balenaEtcher-linux-x64/balena-etcher”

Sorry for such a basic newby question.

Just to clarify, are you trying to flash JetPack 6.2 onto your Jetson Orin Nano? If you are using the SD card image provided by NVIDIA, you would need to flash it onto an SD card using Etcher on your workstation, not on the Jetson. So if your PC is running Windows, you would need to install that version of Etcher on your PC.

Hi Alan, Thank you for your quick reply. I misunderstood a statement in the NVIDIA setup, “You can now upgrade your Jetson to the latest firmware without needing a host Ubuntu PC.”
I followed your advice and flashed the card offline. I am now up and running. Looking forward to generating my first bug on this thing.
