Etcher 1.4.9 keeps asking me admin password when flashing disk

Hey guys,

I’m on a macbook and I recently upgraded my etcher to 1.4.9.

Now all of the sudden Etcher asks me to enter my admin password every time I flash a disk.

Is this expected behaviour?

@FransvanHoogstraten yes, this is required by macOS to access the drive.

Ok, no way to disable it? Kind of annoying when flashing a lot of SD’s in a row…

facing the same issue with windows 10 … :confused:
How to get rid of this error message (just have one account on my PC… admin rights shouldnt be an issue).
