Container for i.MX6 solo x device

Hello,

We need container engine for our edge device which is based on i.MX6 solo x architecture. It runs custom built embedded linux which uses 4.9.141 kernel(Yocto 2.5). Is there is any port available for this architecture?

Hi @srikanthshapz,

Balena engine should work on your device.

You can try installing it with this command on your boards: curl -sfL https://balena.io/engine/install.sh | sh

Or you could try to compile it yourself in the yocto environment from our layers using this recipe as starting point: https://github.com/balena-os/meta-balena/tree/master/meta-resin-common/recipes-containers/balena
