Can't select a drive, there is "Lard Drive" label on the one I want to select

Hi, I’m trying to use etcher to put an Hasbian on my micra SD, which is an OS for my home automation system, bu then once I try to select the dive on Etcher, the drive has a “Large Drive” label and doesn’t wanna select. Does anyone why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? Thx

Hey there, is the drive grayed out at all? What are the characteristics of the drive, e.g. size, model?

The same error (etcher-electron-1.4.3-x86_64.AppImage).

Yeap, that’s exactly what it is!

@aminnakhjavani @Tutu we’ve now released Etcher v1.4.4, which fixes this issue :slight_smile:

I received a similar error. Was planning to use a new 256gb usb flash drive to create a bootable usb stick with Linux Mint, a 3gb file. Here are the steps.

Started Etcher, then selected the ISO file.

Clicked “select target”. A error triangle and a statement that says “large drive” highlighted in yellow but continued.

The usb drive was selected, then clicked on “select 1”.

The main screen appeared again with an error sign, and the word “change” appeared under the “USB DISK USB Device”. I clicked on the “change” statement.

The usb drive was selected again, but DID NOT click select 1.
Rather the cog wheel in the upper right corner was clicked instead. This is what came up.

I hope this helps with your diagnostics.
Kind regards
