I and many people on this forums are getting this error, I am completely sure it isn’t because of the iso I am trying to flash but problem of Etcher 1.7.1 itself.
I was wondering if someone could provide me a download for 1.7.0 version

You can grab older versions from the github.
Just the click the version you want and select the appropriate file.
