Bluetooth fail to connect to but Linux PC connects 100% every time

I have balena sound running on my raspi 4 and everything works fine the first time until I restart my bluetooth on any android device phone/tablet than I cannot connect to balenaOS8d55 it says pin or password incorrect. I have tried everything and I con not find this issue anywhere in the forums. Please assist.

Hello,

Are you able to connect with your android phone successfully, until you restart your bluetooth on the phone? Or are you unable to connect to the pi4’s bluetooth at all with any of your android devices?

Could you tell us what version of balenaOS you are using, what model of pi4, and the full logs that are given by your pi4 that signal that the bluetooth connection has failed. Additionally, any information about your android devices that are failing to connect could also be useful - i.e the model of the devices and the android versions.

thanks

Hi there, it looks like this is somewhat of a known issue - bluetooth: unreliable bluetooth pairing status on balenaSound · Issue #526 · balenalabs/balena-sound · GitHub

I was able to reproduce the problem, and have passed on my findings to the maintainers of balena sound and the bluetooth block.

Thank you for your reply. Correct my android devices only connects to my Pi Bluetooth once (first time only) after restart it will not connect at all. I see this is also happening now with my Linux PC Bluetooth. also only connected once.

I am using a Pi4B 4gig. BalenaOS 2.95.8, OS Variant is Development and supervisor version is 12.11.38.
Note: My raspi 4 with Debian Buster OS the Bluetooth connection with my Android devices works perfect every time. See Attached Logs
