Has anybody flashed balenaOS to coral dev board’s eMMC (instead of the SD card)? Wondering if the coral’s mendel flashing scripts can be easily modified to flash balena OS instead of mendel linux using fastboot. Any tips?
Hi, the balena OS image you download for the Google Coral board is a flasher image. This means you write the image to an SD card and the follow the instructions: Set the BOOT_SELECT switch to the SD-CARD position. then power the board on and that should install balena OS onto the eMMC and then the board should shutdown when the installation finishes. At that point, you remove power, remove the SD card, Set the BOOT_SELECT switch to the eMMC position. and the power the board back on.
