Greetings. I just want to confirm the following statement from a 29-Aug-2024 Balena blog:
Balena has supported the 32 GB version of the AGX Orin Developer Kit since it was introduced almost two years ago. The AGX Orin Dev kit is now produced solely with 64GB of RAM, and contains a different kernel device tree than the older 32GB version. This, along with some other low level changes required the new “jetson-agx-orin-devkit-64gb“ balena device type to properly support it.
Does this mean that versions of balenaOS 6.x do not support the 32GB AGX Orin device tree? Or to put it another way, placing a custom *.dtb
in /mnt/sysroot/active/current/boot/ of a 32GB AGX Orin running balenaOS 6.x is futile? Thank you for the clarification in advance.
