Access denied using Etcher on Mac

Hello

I tried to copy an image to a SD card on my Apple mac. I get an error message ’ you don’t have access to this resource ( I have attached a screen shot)

Any ideas why I am getting this message?

Hi there,
looks like your account doesn’t have administrative permissions, and thus won’t allow direct access to storage devices. Do you have multiple accounts on that machine? If so, could you try using one of them when prompted for user & password?

I have exactly this problem running version 1.4.9 under an admin account on both High Sierra and Mojave.

I do not get prompted for user/password.

Any suggestions ?

Is your account under some admin restrictions or something like that?
