Client’s firewall is blocking VPN traffic to *.balena-cloud.com as per network requirement. Asking for a specific IP to whitelist. Is there one for it?
Hello @sshakya first of all welcome to the balena community!
We strongly recommend to not rely on specific IP addresses, as we can’t confirm that our providers could change the IP addresses of our services. This is why we recommend to use *.balena-cloud.com
.
Let us know if this is possible!
which cloud provider is your *.balena-cloud.com ?
Is there an enterprise solution so we are allowed to host on?
@sshakya our provider is AWS.
If you want to learn more about the on-premise solution, feel free to write an e-mail through the contact form Contact Us - balena and our Customer Success people is going to try to help you more.
Thanks
Balena Cloud uses dynamic IPs, so there isn’t a single static IP to whitelist. Instead, they recommend allowing traffic to .balena-cloud.com. For residential networks, a flexible firewall rule may be needed.
