Hello @jace

Does it work if you retry flashing ?

We have found a similar issue on mac that should be fixed in the next release (1.5.112) that should be out this week.

Hello,

this should be fixed in Etcher 1.5.112

Ran into the same problem today, using Etcher 1.5.112. I’m working on a Windows 10 machine and also trying to make an Ubuntu bootable USB with the same error message.

Hi, welcome to the forums!

Could you retry and share the console output when the error happens? You can open the developer console using Ctrl+Shift+I or going to the View menu > Toggle Developer Tools.

The original reported error was on a OS X machine so I would like to confirm this is the same error to pass all relevant information to our engineers.

Thank you
Felipe
