Hello everyone on the Balena forum, I’m having quite a few problems with Balena Etcher that have made me dislike it a bit. Before, when I tried to flash my Linux Mint ISO, I got the following error: Error(0,h.requestMetadata) is not a function.
I tried running it as administrator and it seemed to work. I wondered, what if I run the updater executable without running it as administrator? Well, it does work, but it gives an error on the second attempt. However, after flashing, two things happen:

The USB drive gets corrupted (the good news is I can fix it).

(What happens to me now?) It flashes, but when I open the flashed USB drive, it only shows 37 MB; the rest disappears, and it’s incorrectly formatted.
Honestly, I don’t know what to do. I want to switch to Linux, but I don’t know if my Windows MiniOS is causing the application to malfunction, or if I’m actually doing something wrong. Because if I run it as administrator, the USB drive appears as damaged. I’ll try something, but honestly, I’d appreciate any help, although I’m starting to dislike Balena.
