Hi,
Do you have a timeline for compatibility between for BalenaOS and Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano Development Kit, that runs Jetson Linux 35.3.1 / Jetpack 5.1.1.
all the best!
Hi @aindriu,
I’m not sure but have reached out to our lead for the Jetson devices to find out.
Hi, we’ve placed an order for the Orin Nano but it has not arrived yet to our office. As soon as we receive it and the Yocto BSP layer we use meta-tegra/conf/machine at 259f05206db7e51e4b4caa239835e14483435e3b · OE4T/meta-tegra · GitHub adds support for it, we can start looking into integrating this device with balenaOS. We’ll let you know here once it’s supported in our cloud.
Amazing - I just received my Orin Nano today. Looking forward to the updates - thanks!
Let us know if you have any issue @drewjgray and please do share your successes
Will do! You’ll still let us know here when you have a balena image for it?
Yep, we’ve opened the following issue and internally linked it to this forum thread, see: Support for Jetson Orin Nano requested · Issue #155 · balena-os/balena-jetson-orin · GitHub
So once the issue is closed or progress is made on it, we’ll be able to update you. Meanwhile, the issue is in a public repo so you should be able track it as well.
Hi, just wanted to let you know the Orin Nano Devkit (SD-CARD module) is now supported in balena-cloud. The dashboard image is configured to provision and boot from NVME drives.
Amazing news, thank you!
Do you have instructions from flash to boot?
Sure, you can find the link in the cloud image download modal, the instructions are listed on the right side, or access them here GitHub - balena-os/jetson-flash: This tool allows users to flash BalenaOS on Jetson supported devices
