No Audio Output from Spotify

I have a new device set up on a RPI4 B. Running balenaOS 3.1.1. I can connect to the device using Spotify app but I am getting no audio output. I tried to go into alsamixer in the bluetooth-audio service terminal but I am getting the message “This sound devise does not have any controls.” Any suggestions?

A few questions:

  • Are you using balenaSound?
  • What output do you get from aplay -L ? If you are using balenaSound, please run that command from the audio container.
  • Are you using the built-in audio on the RPi4?

Yes, this is a balena sound install. The output is the audio jack for the RPi4.

Do you mean the bluetooth-audio service? I do not see an audio container.
