When moving a device from one fleet to another, the sidebar stays with the device name and links open while the main page navigates to the fleet it was moved into.
I would expect the device page would just refresh instead of navigating away to the destination fleet.
Hi, thanks for posting the issue. Showing the fleet summary while the device summary is selected in the sidebar definitely is a bug. I’ve forwarded to our UI team.
It looks to me like the intent was to show the Device Summary page within the new fleet. That change would indicate the change of context to the user. I think there is value with that change because the device needs to update services for the new fleet, so the user can observe that update in progress. Moving to a different fleet is more than a simple property of the device. Does that make sense?
Yes, that’s exactly what I would expect.
This issue was fixed in dashboard v28.12.20 from earlier in Jan 2025.
