Installation instructions for Etcher on Linux x86-64 system

I have a problem installing Etcher on a Linux x86-64 system..
There are NO instructions and no apparent way to install Etcher on Linux from the zip file - no setup app or install script.

I thought I would try another way, and looked at installing the debian package off github.
I have a Linux x86-64 arch machine.

What I found was the only linux uunstall package for x86-64 is for red hat systems. The Debian one is amd64.

So there are no linux install packages either.

Does anyone have any idea of how an idiot (me) with only 40 years IT development experience can actually install Etcher?

I see those instructions are for several different installations but not for zip. In the case of the zip, I believe you should be able to just unzip it and run the balena-etcher file within. Could you please give that a try?

It works. Sorry. I was looking for an executable or script file, and didn’t think the balenaEtcher cog icon was one.
