What would be the impact of using a base image that is not in balenalib/*? There are some containers we would like to create for which images are already available, but (of course) they do not have the balenalib images as their base. What would I have to do to be able to use those images? Or will they work as-is with no problems?

We provide various base images for convenience, but you should be able to run any base image from the registry. Out base images are tweaked to ensure certain things work correctly, like communicating with peripherals, and that’s something you would have to sort out if needed otherwise!
