We have a situation where there is a customer PC onsite on a local PC, and we need to use our balena device to tunnel into the local plan and expose that device out to a device on the public internet.
How would I achieve this? and can I use the already existing balena VPN tunnels to do this?

I don’t know if you can use the Balena VPN for that. But if you are willing to install a separate service, one option is Tailscale: Subnet routers and traffic relay nodes · Tailscale Docs
It’s a P2P VPN solution with an easy to use subnet router functionality that lets you expose the subnet in your “private LAN” such that you can access it from another computer (anywhere else). For that to work Tailscale needs to be installed on the Balena device (as subnet router) and on the “outside” PC, but not on the “local” PCs in the private LAN.
