Going over quota freezes all devices

Hi, we just went over the free quota by adding an 11th device. As expected the dashboard warned about this and offered the option to upgrade or suggested to delete a device.

In this case we can get away with this by deleting a single device. Next time we will most probably upgrade.

However one thing was a little confusing. According the notice some of the devices should have been frozen (asuming the last one added). However it turned out all devices were frozen (see attachment).

“Organization “xxxx” has exceeded its free device allowance and as a result some of the devices have been frozen. In order to unfreeze your devices, reduce the total device count to fewer than 10 or upgrade your plan. Learn more here.”

We able to unfreeze quickly so we don’t think any of the devices were impacted meaningful but is this a bug or expected behaviour?

Thanks for your message and recommendations @bas and apologizes for the experience!

I shared internally your message, so let me check what is the expected behaviour!

Let us know if we can help you with anything else

Thank you for alerting us to this @bas. That is the expected behavior. But we have made a note to improve the wording / clarity.

BTW, when devices are frozen, what’s really frozen is your access to them. The containers themselves continue to run on frozen devices.

clear. thx.

one thing though. would public url’s still be available? I didn’t check that, but that would be of potential impact for users.
