everytime i try to flash my 8gb sd card with octoprint it fails using windows 10. current version is 1.5.115. theres no way to look at logs or anything else from what i can see.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue. I am using windows 10 and the latest balenaEtcher. I was able to flash the latest octopi image to a 16GB sd card.
Do you see any errors when flashing the image?
As for logs, you can try to take a look at the dev tools console (can be opened with Ctrl+Alt+i) in Etcher. See any errors?

also i tried the ctrl+alt+i and it didnt do anything?

Hey @h3xk, good to hear that the latest version worked fine for you. It’s possible that the original version you downloaded was corrupted.
I think you need to press Ctrl + Shift + I to open the DevTools console and see the logs of the application.
