Not sure if this has been requested before but it sure would be nice if Etcher had the ability to add multiple ISOs to a USB drive for multiple live distros. Sort of like what YUMI does.
Honestly I’d rather they stick to their core use case, a multi platform image writer. If you want to do multi-boot you will need more knowledge than the average Etcher user. Using Easy2Boot or Grub4Dos to build out a flash drive from the MANY blog posts on the topic is far more likely to succeed than trying to build it into Etcher and require Balena to support those features in addition to the number of users that obviously have no idea what they were doing with Etcher and nuked their precious USB drive or SD card even though they were warned repeatedly.
etcher is 150mb on windows and no multiboot support WinSetupFromUSB and YUMI much less(10mb ) and they support multiboot
they can keep core use case and add advance mode as well to add multiple bootable options (linux, windows, etc)
there is a new project called ventoy which supports multiboot in really easy way copy/paste iso file
Hello, we have no plans for this in the near future.
