Cannot submit engineering request in balenacloud


I am developer on a paid balena application, but I find that I am unable to submit engineering support requests through balena cloud.

Is this expected? Some members of my team are able to submit engineering requests, but some aren’t. What is the rule here?


Hi Daniel,

We just provided your username in balenaCloud to access to the support. So you could submit a request from the dashboard now.

And yes it is expected that you don’t have the support permission by default. We are actively working on a new feature that will automatically provide support permission to all the organization members who have a paid subscription to balenaCloud. We expect to release it pretty soon so there won’t be need for such manual permission granting.
