Balena is asking for a password

I am trying to use Balena for the install of Tails from the img file and to verify download and target is my USB. When I select Flash, I get the pop up box requesting a password. I use a Mac Book Pro (2017). I continually get this message below for a password:

balenaEtcher needs privileged access in order to flash disks.
Type your password to allow this.

Also, when I click on More Info to find out why there is an issue, I see this:

EBUSY: resource busy or locked, open ‘/dev/rdisk2’

I use my laptop password but that does not work. I am running your most recent version 1.10.2

Any advice you can offer?
Thank you kindly

Hello @lcpanam2000 welcome to the balena community!

Could you please confirm what operating system version are you using on your laptop?

I see other community members with a similar issue here → EBUSY: resource busy or locked, open '/dev/rdisk2 on Mac pro M1 - #19

Let us know if that helps to you
