Spent an entire evening trying to flash Linux Mint to a number of USB sticks. Tried two different computers, a number of USB sticks, and two different OSI. Same result every time…once finished (and Balena said it was a good transfer) the stick was unrecognizable to my Macs. Would not boot on restart, would not recognize it in any way. The only way to reformat the USBs is through Terminal. Very frustrating, especially when Mint points users to you for flashing the USB drive. I am a bit of a newbie, but honestly with all of the similar complaints, I know it is not me. It also appears this has been going on for a while with no fix.
