But I am still unable to push releases with the same errors that have been prevelant pretty much all day
[Error] An error occurred: ESOCKETTIMEDOUT
do I have a problem with my own connectivity or is the status page lieing?

I just used the balena CLI to push some new code. I’m using the experimental / stand-alone CLI version 9.12.0 from the Ubuntu Linux subsystem on Windows 10. Which version of the CLI are you using, and what platform are you on? Can you try updating to the latest stand-alone CLI? You can download it from here: https://github.com/balena-io/balena-cli/releases
